Community lists let owners share checklists that work for their caravan or RV, so others with the same make and model can benefit. These rules keep the community lists useful and safe. They’re part of the RooCheck Terms of Use, and you agree to them before sharing your first list.

Share lists that help other owners

• Make the list genuinely useful for the make and model you choose.
• Write items clearly, so someone else can follow them.
• Keep it accurate. Don’t share steps you know are wrong or unsafe.

Not allowed

Lists that contain or include any of the following will be declined or removed:

• Unsafe advice: steps that are deliberately misleading or dangerous, or that tell people to ignore the manufacturer’s instructions or the law.
• Personal details: yours or anyone else’s, e.g. names, phone numbers, addresses, alarm or lock codes, or where keys are kept.
• Advertising or spam: links or web addresses, promotions, or the same list posted again and again.
• Offensive content: abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexual, violent or threatening content, or bad language.
• Illegal content, or content that encourages illegal activity.
• Other people’s work: content you don’t have the right to share, such as pages copied from a manufacturer’s manual.
• Off-topic content: anything that isn’t a checklist for a caravan or RV.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

How it works

• Only the wording is shared. That means the list’s name, description and items. Your notes, ticks, photos and name are never shared.
• The RooCheck team checks every list before anyone else can see it. Lists need at least 3 items. New accounts can share after their first day.
• Changing a shared list means sending it again, and it’s checked again before it goes live.
• You can stop sharing a list at any time. Copies others already made stay theirs.

Reporting a problem

If a community list breaks these rules or looks wrong, tap Report a problem with this list. We review every report. A list reported by several people is taken down until we’ve reviewed it again.

What happens if the rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

• decline or remove the list;
• stop the person sharing any more lists, and take down everything they’ve shared;
• suspend or close their account.
